Rob Finch is an Emmy-winning director, cinematographer, and editor with over two decades of award-winning visual storytelling experience and a proven track record of creative leadership.

As Executive Producer at Floret, Finch directs innovative storytelling initiatives that combine high-production cinematic techniques with powerful narratives. He has developed effective methods for creating compelling visual stories using both original cinematography and carefully selected sourced footage and photography, enabling Floret to deliver impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences worldwide.

Previously, as Creative Director at Blue Chalk Media, he shaped the company's vision while directing hundreds of films, commercials, and television shows. During his tenure, he expanded the company's creative capabilities, mentored emerging talent, and established Blue Chalk's distinctive visual storytelling approach that continues to define the brand.

A two-time Newspaper Photographer of the Year, Finch's visual journalism has earned international recognition. His work has been exhibited at France's prestigious Visa Pour L'Image festival, and he was selected for the World Press Masterclass. Photo District News named him one of 30 emerging photographers to watch.

Finch was part of the team at The Oregonian winning the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News as a multimedia producer. He later won the Online Journalism Award for Best Video Presentation and became the publication's Visuals Editor, where he managed daily photography and video content and over 20 photographers and editors.

Finch has served on the faculty of the NPPA's Flying Short Course, the Mountain Workshops, and the NPPA Multimedia Immersion, while lecturing at various universities on visual storytelling and the evolution of digital media.

He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Francesca, and their two children, Alcina and Seamus.
